The Work Experience Program offers paid, on-the-job training designed for eligible participants who are justice-involved or in the Reentry & Recovery Program. This initiative helps individuals build essential skills and gain practical experience through placements within our tribal departments and with external partners. With a focus on continuous support and open communication, the program empowers participants to overcome challenges and barriers, improve their job readiness, and establish a strong foundation for long-term economic stability and personal growth.
In addition to job training, we provide comprehensive support services to enhance participants’ employability. These services include:
- Educational Support: Customized training to improve job skills and knowledge.
- Employment Services: Guidance with resume writing, cover letter development, job applications, online job searching, and interview techniques.
- Career Development: Career assessments and motivational training to help participants identify and pursue their career goals.
Upon completion of the program, participants will have a well-developed employment portfolio to showcase their skills and qualifications. Our goal is to equip participants with the tools and confidence they need to secure and maintain permanent, unsubsidized employment.
